Community Guidelines.

Effective Date: April 4, 2026

Welcome to The 175 Method community! You've joined a group of driven, ambitious students who are all working toward the same goal: mastering the LSAT® and opening the door to the law school of their dreams. We're so glad you're here.

This space exists to support you. Whether you're asking a question, sharing a win, or just venting about a rough practice test — this is a place where you belong. These guidelines exist to keep our forum a positive, productive, and respectful environment for everyone.

By participating in the community, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Section OneBe Kind and Respectful

Everyone here is on a challenging journey, and everyone deserves to feel welcome and supported. Please treat your fellow students with the same encouragement you'd want for yourself.

  • Use a friendly, constructive tone — even when you disagree.
  • Celebrate others' progress, no matter how big or small.
  • Be patient. Students are at different stages and skill levels, and that's a strength of this community.
  • Do not mock, belittle, or talk down to anyone, regardless of their score or experience.

Section TwoKeep It Focused on LSAT® Prep

Our forum is dedicated to LSAT preparation and law school admissions. To keep discussions useful and on-track, please:

  • Post questions and content relevant to the LSAT, study strategies, law school applications, or related academic topics.
  • Use descriptive titles when starting new threads so others can find helpful discussions easily.
  • Search the forum before posting a question — it may already have a great answer!
  • Avoid off-topic conversations, spam, or posts unrelated to the program or LSAT prep.

Section ThreeAsk Freely — No Question Is Too Basic

There are no silly questions here. If you're confused about a concept, struggling with a question type, or unsure about a strategy, please ask. Our community grows stronger when students feel safe speaking up, and your question might be exactly what someone else needed to hear answered.

When responding to others' questions, aim to explain your thinking clearly and encouragingly.

Section FourShare Thoughtfully

We love when students share resources, insights, and strategies — it's one of the best parts of learning together. A few things to keep in mind:

  • Do not share copyrighted LSAT® materials, including official LSAC® tests, PrepTest® PDFs, or any content that is not yours to distribute.
  • Do not share or reproduce The 175 Method course content (videos, written materials, practice questions, or study guides) within the forum or anywhere else. This content is protected intellectual property.
  • When sharing external resources, make sure they are appropriate and relevant to the group.
  • Credit others' ideas and work when you reference them.

Section FiveProtect Everyone's Privacy

This is a private community, and what's shared here should stay here. Please:

  • Do not share other students' personal information, messages, or posts outside the forum without their consent.
  • Do not post your own or others' sensitive personal details (such as full name, phone number, address, or financial information) in the forum.
  • Be mindful that screenshots and sharing can happen even in private spaces — post with that in mind.

Section SixZero Tolerance for Harmful Behavior

We are committed to keeping this space safe for everyone. The following behaviors will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the community:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any kind
  • Discrimination or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic
  • Sharing explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content
  • Deliberately spreading misinformation about the LSAT, law schools, or the program
  • Soliciting other students for services, products, or competing programs

Section SevenNo Self-Promotion or Advertising

This forum is not a marketplace. Please do not use it to promote outside tutoring services, competing courses, referral programs, or any commercial product or service. If you'd like to collaborate with or sponsor The 175 Method, please reach out to us directly.

Section EightReporting Concerns

If you see something that violates these guidelines or makes you uncomfortable, please don't hesitate to report it. You can flag a post directly or contact us at [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will follow up promptly and discreetly.

Please do not engage or escalate with someone who is behaving inappropriately — report it and let us handle it.

Section NineConsequences for Violations

We hope we never have to enforce these guidelines, but we will when necessary to protect the community. Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, consequences may include:

  • A private reminder or warning
  • Temporary suspension from the forum
  • Permanent removal from the community
  • In serious cases, termination of course access in accordance with our Terms of Use

We will always aim to handle situations with fairness and good judgment.

Section TenA Note from The 175 Method

We built this community because we know that studying for the LSAT can feel isolating — and it doesn't have to. You're surrounded by people who get it, who are rooting for you, and who are putting in the same hard work you are.

Show up for yourself. Show up for each other. And let's get you to a great LSAT score!
